6 Reasons Why You’re Not Manifesting Your Dream Life

Damn Good Day

First Things First

If you’re having trouble manifesting your dreams and goals, don’t fret! This is a safe space where we explore happiness, manifestation, and everything related to having a fulfilling life.

So you’ve created your vision boards, read manifestation books, and even started your own journal. But still, non of your goals seem to be on the way, and you find yourself off the wagon of success. So you start wondering, what am I missing? Yo, universe. I thought we had a deal.

The first thing people assume when their manifestation isn’t working is that they did something wrong. Perhaps they didn’t try hard enough or had way too many negative thoughts holding them back. Or maybe they’re not even worthy of what they’re asking for. But, honestly? Unless you’re manifesting something harmful to yourself or others, this is not the reason why your life is not yet changed.

In this article, we’ll explore why you haven’t yet started to experience your dream life and what you can do to start attracting the things you want. Ready? Let’s go!

1. You’re Holding on Too Tight

In other words, you’re too desperate. Visualizing your dream life is one thing, but lacking trust is another. Imagine going to a restaurant, ordering your favorite food, and then impatiently waiting outside the kitchen because you don’t trust the chef to deliver a great meal. Obsessing over what you want is not going to take you places unless you show faith that what is for you will not pass you by.

You may have heard people saying that “the best things in life happen when you least expect them”. The key is balance; shifting your mindset from old habits that bring you down while still having faith that you’re worth all you want in life.

2. You Don’t Take Action Toward Your Goals

Using “manifest dream life affirmations” definitely helps reprogram your subconscious mind and clarify your intentions. However, if you don’t take the necessary action, your dream life won’t fall into your lap. So you need to put in the effort and work on realistic milestones that’ll gradually get you there.

For example, if you’re dreaming about purchasing a new car, you need to break down the steps toward your goal, such as arranging finance, getting a car loan, or working harder to earn more money. As you tick off milestones from your list, you’ll be getting closer to your dreams. Hence, you need to start small and build your way up to your aspirations. Because nobody will ring your bell to gift you with a new car (or will they?).

3. You’re Not Being Specific Enough

So you want to be rich, but you don’t have a clear idea in your mind of what that means. Finding $20 on the street could feel rich. Or winning $1 million in the lottery could feel rich. If you want to manifest your dream life, you must be clear on your goals. As a general rule of thumb, if you can’t define it, you can’t create it.

For example, if you’re looking for a romantic partner, get clear on the qualities you want. Then, try putting them down on a list to help you spot them easier when you find them. Or, if you want to achieve a business goal, create a roadmap on how you’ll get there. This will help direct your energy to things that truly matter instead of vaguely hoping for your goals to get automatically fulfilled.

4. It’s Not the Right Time

As bright as we may be, we’re not know-it-all beings. You might think that it’s best for something to happen right now, yet you wouldn’t be truly happy if you were to receive it. For example, how many people wanted to manifest money and fame, only to find themselves deeply unhappy when they finally got everything their hearts desired? .

We constantly hear about celebrities overdosing on drugs or killing themselves, and the question remains. Why do they need to do that after having their dreams come true? The answer is quite simple. Because those dreams were invented by their ego. So you might focus all your energy on achieving a business goal or attracting a specific person and miss something better that was in store for you.

5. You’re Miserable

There’s no way to sugar-coat this, so I might as well spill it out. You’re a bummer, always complaining about something, choosing negativity over positivity. You gossip behind your friends’ back, constantly find flaws in your partner, you’re mean to your mum, and always see yourself as the victim. So, let me ask you this. When was the last time you were truly happy?

You’re going to think, how am I supposed to be happy if I don’t achieve my goals? Let’s just say that even when you land your dream life, you’ll still be unhappy because you’re unfamiliar with appreciation. Happiness is a choice. It’s about being thankful for what you have and making the most out of it in any circumstance. So, unless you loosen up and let go, there’s no chance to manifest your dream life

6. You’re Self-sabotaging

Even if you don’t fall into any of the above traps, there’s still a chance you’re self-sabotaging your own efforts. For example, you might want a healthier relationship, yet you go from the unemployed toxic guy to the narcissist ex-boyfriend. Or you might say you want to eat healthier, yet you grab the bag of Doritos at the earliest opportunity. Self-sabotage is also a sign that you feel you’re not worthy enough. Therefore, your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are not aligned.

Put simply, you fall into negative habits and then beat yourself for it. As a result, you block your own success and prevent yourself from accomplishing your dreams and aspirations. This can happen consciously or unconsciously due to mindsets and patterns. So the only way to break those patterns is to understand their roots. Self-awareness and introspection are key, and they all start with the phrase: I want to achieve (goal), but I keep doing (behavior).

Manifest Your Dream Life!

You can read as many “manifest your dream life” books as you want, but unless you identify what’s blocking your success, you will remain stuck. So be clear about what you want, take action toward your goals, and learn to trust and let go. Finally, remember that when you narrate your own story of how Ι manifested my dream life, it will start from here.
